NEW COURSE STARTING 7 SEPT:

How To Eat Bread: Ways to Read the Bible (yes, there are more than one!)

We regularly run courses throughout the year introducing and exploring a progressive, questioning and open approach to the Christian faith . The next course starts on Monday 7th September and runs for 7 weeks on Monday evenings, from 8-9pm.

‘How to Eat Bread’ is the title of our Rector, Miranda Threlfall-Holmes’, forthcoming book exploring a variety of ways to read the Bible. We’ll look at ways that the Biblical texts themselves model reading other parts of Scripture; ways that medieval Christians approached the Bible; and some more contemporary approaches.

This course will take place on Zoom - please register and then we can send out the link to join. You will need an internet connection but it will work fine on a phone or tablet. It is up to you whether you turn on your microphone and/or camera, and how much you participate in discussion.

Please contact us to book onto this course.

Spirituality and Awakening

The Spirituality and Awakening  series of meetings provide an opportunity to explore contemporary spirituality both in theory and practice. These typically take place three times a year and may include a half day or full day seminar and an evening meeting. We usually have a guest speaker or spiritual teacher with the aim of offering the opportunity to broaden and deepen our spiritual awakening.
